Advance your building and construction management career with this qualification. Learn the skills and knowledge to work in building management, production teams and the operations workforce to manage constructions from a small building business through to medium rise constructions.
During this course you will gain skills and knowledge of building codes and standards, structural principles, medium size building project management and how to supervise construction planning processes. In addition you will study legal obligations and contracts, monitor costing systems and develop policies and procedures.
This course structure is based on Australian building codes and regulations. International students should consider if these regulations are applicable in your own country. Upon completion of this course you can study further at university.
An IELTS score (academic) of 6.0 with no band score less than 5.0 or equivalent.
Completion of CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction [Building] is required for entry into this course.

To achieve this qualification, students must demonstrate competency in 27 units. These 27 are comprised of 24 core units and 3 elective units. Elective units listed below have been selected in consultation with industry.
Students who enrol into this qualification will be eligible for credit transfer of the units that they have already achieved. Fees paid by international students are set on a commercial basis and are paid as a whole of course fee - no refund will apply to credit transfers.
