Bar Essentials is an eight-hour, hands-on course that offers unique, interactive and fun insights into what it's like to work behind a bar.

In this course you will learn how to mix cocktails and the art of pouring the perfect beer, as well as the correct use of bar equipment, and develop your knowledge about the vast array of liquors available.

You'll also learn the fundamentals of how to provide quality customer service, as well as some tips on how to engage positively with customers.

On successful completion of this course, you will receive a Statement of Attendance. You might also like to extend your skills and knowledge and consider enrolling in SIT30616 - Certificate III in Hospitality.
