If you enjoy working outdoors and want to develop your existing skills and knowledge at a more advanced level in the Landscape Construction industry, then this is the qualification for you!
This qualification is designed to give you the specialist skills and knowledge you need to undertake a range of work functions and job roles within the Landscaping industry. If you are already employed in the Landscape Construction industry, or are currently undertaking work in a job with landscape construction-related tasks, this qualification is the one you've been looking for!
In this course you will learn how to set out construction work, construct brick/block structures, stone structures and features, as well as implement paving projects and retaining walls.
Throughout the course, you will develop your skills providing information on plants and their culture, implementing soil improvements, and plant nutrition and plant establishment programs, as well as installing drainage systems. You'll also learn how to install, operate and maintain pressurised irrigation systems, as well as perform specialist amenity pruning.
On successful completion of this course, you'll have the landscape construction skills you need to prepare you for work at a supervisory level within this vibrant industry, and seek employment with a range of landscaping and garden maintenance companies.
Note - You must be employed as an apprentice, or currently be undertaking work in a job with landscape construction-related tasks to enrol in this qualification.
