This nationally recognised qualification provides a trade outcome in Plumbing, specialising in Mechanical Services, and has a strong focus on technology, where you will learn the skills you need to be able to use relevant construction technologies and equipment across the Plumbing industry.
Mechanical Services Plumbing work often involves the installation of heating, cooling and ventilation systems for residential and commercial buildings and also includes plumbing work for medical gas equipment. Throughout this course, you will learn how to install water and gas pipe, ducting, heating and cooling systems.
On successful completion of this course, you will have the skills you need to work as a Mechanical Services Plumber, and have the opportunity to apply for a practitioners licence so that you can operate as a licenced Mechanical Services Plumber within Tasmania.
