This two-and a half hour Diabetes Awareness online evening workshop is the perfect way to find out how you can better support people living with diabetes.
Designed for students and support workers in the Aged Care, Disability or Community Services sectors, this workshop is an ideal opportunity to build on your knowledge about diabetes and gain a better understanding of potential complications and management strategies for dealing with this chronic condition.
You'll learn about the different types of diabetes, and self-management strategies, as well as foot care, eye care, oral care, healthy eating, and Diabetes Tas services.
You'll also have the opportunity, to participate in a Q&A session in the second half of the workshop.
On completion of this workshop, you will receive a Statement of Attendance for NONC0178A-V01 - Diabetes Awareness.
There are no essential entry requirements for this course.
It makes sense that you should be recognised for the things you already know how to do.
