Get your licence to safely operate a boom-type elevating work platform and perform high risk work.
This nationally recognised short course is designed to provide you with the underpinning knowledge and skills you need to safely operate a boom type elevated work platform (11 metres or more in boom length).
This two-day short course will equip you with the ability to perform pre-operation checks, and how to set up, operate and shutdown elevated work platforms, as well as learn about site job planning.
On successful completion of this course, you will receive a Statement of Attainment for the unit completed, and be able to apply for National High Risk Work Licence - WP through WorkSafe Tasmania. The licence is valid for five years.
Note- You must be18 years of age and comply with the requirements outlined in the application for high-risk work published by WorkSafe Tasmania and have a satisfactory level of literacy and numeracy.
