Non-Award
This is a professional development short course for celebrants utilising an online, blended learning format.
Part one: Self-paced reading and activities via GordonOnline. To be completed before class (approx 2 hours). Login instruction provided in the enrolment confirmation.
Part two: Zoom virtual classroom (2 hours)
The course introduces you to various ceremonies to help you expand your celebrancy practice and grow your business. As professional celebrants, we can design, write, and deliver a whole range of ceremonies and life rituals. While our professional registration relates specifically to solemnising marriages, and many celebrants also have a funeral practice, we can offer many other ceremonies to enhance and sustain our celebrancy business.
We will look at naming ceremonies, uncoupling ceremonies, vow renewals, commitment ceremonies, and living wakes. We will help you understand the meaning and significance of these rituals and ways to incorporate them into your celebrancy practice.
