About this scholarship

Donor: Town and Country Pathologists' Club. The prize memorialises the late Harold Attwood MB ChB (St Andrews), MD (St Andrews), MD (Melb.) who was a distinguished pathologist, teacher and medical historian. During his life he undertook research in the area of amniotic fluid embolism as a cause of maternal death. In 1961 he became assistant director of pathology at the Royal Women's Hospital, Melbourne and a founding member of the Royal College of Pathologists (UK).

ELIGIBILITY

Awarded to the student with the highest mark in the written assessment component of the subject Principles of Clinical Practice 2 (PCP2).

OUTCOME

Most merit based prize recipients will be advised in writing in Semester One of the following academic year.
