About this scholarship

Donor: The Yeomans and Buxton families, their friends and associates, to establish a prize in memory of the late Karl David Yeomans. Karl, a poet, died from brain cancer at age 33, and was the son of Professor Neville Yeomans, formerly Associate Dean (Academic Programs) in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, and also formerly Head of the Department of Medicine at The Western Hospital.

ELIGIBILITY

This award is open to all students studying in the MDHS faculty.

SELECTION

The winner will be determined by the Karl David Yeomans Prize Committee comprising of three University of Melbourne staff.

APPLICATION

Student's should submit a 3000-word essay on the topic of brain cancer.
