The John Koowarta Reconciliation Law Scholarship

Scholarship offered by The Law Council of Australia for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people studying (part-time or full-time) in an approved course to gain admission as a legal practitioner in any Australian jurisdiction. Approved degrees include Bachelor of Laws and Juris Doctor. Valued at $5,500 for full-time study or pro rata for part-time study. Awarded for the full duration of the Laws degree, subject to review at the end of each academic year. The scholarship will not be awarded to an applicant who already holds any other Australian bursary or scholarship.
