You will also undertake placements, with the final placement completed in your home country.

What you will learn

You will complete 130 units of core courses, including 40 units of courses which focus on your area of teaching specialisation, and 30 units of electives. In the core courses you will examine concepts and theories in the following learning areas:

  • Educational philosophy, psychology, and sociology;
  • language as a social practice;
  • the principles and practice of teaching, including an emphasis on pedagogy and assessment; and
  • the integration of new technologies into the curriculum.

You will enter the education system in your home country as a capable and professional individual with a well-developed sense of professional ethics.
