About this course

This degree increases your employment prospects by enabling you to gain expertise in two different areas of interest.

Depending on your chosen specialisation, you may get the opportunity to gain practical experience when you contribute to the University's annual short stories and poetry publication, Piping Shrike, online publication, On the Record, or our student journal, The Globalist. We also offer outstanding on-campus learning facilities, including a Multimedia Languages Lab where you can connect in real-time with native speakers from around the world.

In addition, you may be able to study a portion of your degree overseas as part of the University's Hawke Ambassador Volunteer Experience Program. As part of this program you will volunteer with an international non-government organisation (NGO), usually in an overseas destination.
