What you will learn

The degree starts with core courses in business, giving you a solid grasp of business fundamentals such as economics, accounting, management and entrepreneurship.

You will also complete cross-disciplinary courses in Built and Natural Environments, and Art, Architecture and Design, studying specialist topics such as:

  • project management: principles and strategies
  • engineering design and innovation

You can gain an extra qualification and broaden your career prospects by completing a Diploma in Languages.

  • Franchise development manager: identifying and sourcing opportunities for franchise expansion; providing training and strategy support for new franchisees
  • Project innovation manager: ensuring an organisation has the capability to develop innovative strategies, products, services and processes; championing innovation, evaluating and improving the organisation's innovative capacity; facilitating innovation within the organisation
  • Project manager/lead: ensuring projects are delivered on time and according to project plans; managing project team resources; scheduling, preparation and resource forecasting; managing vendors and suppliers; managing budgets
