Further study

As a graduate, you will be eligible to apply for direct entry into a range of UniSQ undergraduate engineering degrees including the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), the Bachelor of Engineering Technology or the Associate Degree of Engineering. If you choose to go on to further studies some subjects that you choose could also count as credit toward your undergraduate degree.

You are required to satisfy the applicable English language requirements and this degree requires a minimum of IELTS 5.5 or equivalent. If you do not meet the English language requirements you may apply to study a University-approved English language program.

Degree structure

To complete this degree students must complete 8 units. Most courses (similar to 'subjects') are valued at 1 unit. To study full-time you would usually complete 4 units per study period.

Once accepted into the Diploma, you will need to complete online diagnostic tests in mathematics, e-literacy, and English communication skills to assist staff in determining your level of reading comprehension, written expression, and mathematical understanding.
