Career paths

After graduating, you could expect to gain employment in a range of jobs involving:

  • human resource development
  • private practice
  • organisational consultancy
  • professional services.

Many of our graduates work as executive coaches, helping individuals in leadership positions enhance their professional skills, leadership capabilities, and decision-making processes, while supporting them one-on-one with their personal and organisational goals.

Coaches have a diverse portfolio of work, which may also involve delivering workshops, seminars, or training programs to groups or organisations on topics such as stress management, wellbeing, resilience building, communication skills, change, and leadership development.

Some of our graduates establish their own private practices, offering one-on-one services to clients on a wide range of personal and professional development topics.

Professional accreditation

While there is no generally recognised professional qualification for coaches, the program is consistent with the International Coach Federation (ICF) core competencies. Hence successful completion of the program may contribute toward accreditation in the ICF's portfolio track.

This course is not a pathway for professional registration as a psychologist.
