Our metabolic health program allows you to gain a qualification in a rapidly evolving and important area of clinical practice. It is suitable for healthcare professionals, including nurses, dieticians, pharmacists, and other allied health professionals with an interest in the field.
This course provides advanced postgraduate training for healthcare professionals wishing to understand and manage diabetes, obesity and associated cardiovascular complications in the general population as well as high risk subgroups.
Students who have completed the compulsory research unit and achieved an average of at least 75% in 24 credit points of compulsory and/or stream specific units of study are eligible to apply to transfer the Master of Science in Medicine (Advanced) (Metabolic Health).
