The Architecture and Built Environments – Creative Innovators’ Program combines a Bachelor of Architecture and Built Environments with extra experiences, activities and opportunities. It is created for outstanding students, just like you.
To get you to Launceston, there is a $7,500 relocation scholarship available for interstate students moving to Tasmania, and a $3,000 scholarship for students relocating to Launceston from within Tasmania.
In your second year, you have the opportunity to study for a semester at one of our international partner institutions as part of the Overseas Exchange Program, supported by a $2,500 scholarship.
Between your second and third year, you can undertake a Summer Research Program where you will work with a supervisor on a research topic of your choice, supported by a $3,000 scholarship.
You will receive a guaranteed internship placement with a local architecture practice or design firm, getting necessary hands-on work experience, building valuable professional networks and ensuring that you are work ready when you graduate.
In addition, you can graduate with a second, custom-built degree – the high achiever academic extension Bachelor of Philosophy – at no extra cost, with the completion of just a few additional units.

If you are interested in studying the Bachelor of Architecture and Built Environments - Creative Innovators’ Program, you need to meet the General Entrance Requirements of the University, and any major-specific requirements.
It is recommended that students include both the Bachelor of Architecture and Built Environments - Creative Innovators’ Program (P3H1) and the Bachelor of Architecture and Built Environments (P3H) when applying.
Please note, this high-achiever entry point for the Bachelor of Architecture and Built Environments is only available for Australian school leavers who have achieved an ATAR of 90 or higher (or equivalent). It is not available to non-recent school leavers who have commenced and/or completed other tertiary studies.

There are no additional prerequisites for this degree.
This program is currently not available to international students. If you wish to study architecture or interior design, you can apply for the Bachelor of Architecture and Built Environments (P3H) – exactly the same degree that is in this program. In addition, if you wish to explore extracurricular opportunities, the overseas exchange and Summer Research Scholarship can be applied for independently, should you wish to undertake them.
