    A double degree can help you build a unique set of skills that will help you stand out in a competitive employment market. When you graduate from a double degree you will receive a separate degree certificate (also called a testamur) for each component course.

    Course structure

    In the 4 year double degree you will complete a total of 400 credit points comprising 200 credit points from each course.

    The requirements of each course, such as majors and core units, are specified below. To build your own double degree, simply combine the requirements from each course you are interested in.

    If you wish to complete a double degree including either:

    • Bachelor of Agricultural Science with Honours
    • Bachelor of Laws

    Double degrees often require careful planning to ensure you can complete your studies on time. This may mean taking some units online instead of on-campus and studying in Summer Semester or other intensive study periods. Some courses and major combinations are not compatible, including:

    • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Fine Arts: Students in this double degree cannot complete the Art and Curatorial Practices major in the Bachelor of Arts component
    • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Media and Communication: Students in this double degree cannot complete the Media and Communication major in the Bachelor of Arts component
    • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Music: Students in this double degree cannot complete the Music and Context major in the Bachelor of Arts component
    • Bachelor Arts/Bachelor of Natural Environments and Conservation Students in this double degree cannot complete the Geography and Environment major in the Bachelor of Arts component
    • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Psychological Science: Students in this double degree cannot complete the Psychological Science major in the Bachelor of Arts component
    • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science: Students in this double degree may only complete the Geography and Environment major in one of the two component courses
    • Bachelor of Information and Communication Technology/Bachelor of Geospatial Science: Students in this double degree cannot complete the Artificial Intelligence major in the Bachelor of Information and Communication Technology component if undertaking the Data Analytics major in the Bachelor of Geospatial Science
    • Bachelor of Natural Environments and Conservation/Bachelor of Science: Students in this double degree cannot complete the Geography and Environment major in the Bachelor of Science component
    • Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Geospatial Science: Students in this double degree cannot complete the Geography major in the Bachelor of Science component if undertaking the Landscape Systems major in the Bachelor of Geospatial Science
