The Master of Human Resource Management (Extension) provides students with the in-depth knowledge and skills necessary to contribute at a senior level to their organisation's human resources and people management functions.

The course is designed primarily for individuals who are currently employed or show the potential for employment, at senior policy-making levels in the fields of human resource management, employment/industrial relations, diversity and inclusion and change management.

The core subjects provide foundational HRM knowledge as well as enhancing students' academic literacy skills and knowledge of the business practice. The additional elective subject choices provide an opportunity to specialise more deeply in the human resource management discipline and to further enhance students' skills, professional practice, specialist knowledge and capabilities.
