To become a registered BAS agent, you must satisfy the relevant qualifications and experience requirements that are set out in the Tax Agent Services Regulations 2009 (TASR). Successful completion of this course meets the requirement for a Tax Practitioners Board (TPB) approved course in basic GST/BAS principles.

Upon successful completion of the two core units, A Statement of Attainment for FNSSS00004 BAS Agent Registration Skill Set will be issued.
Note, this Skill Set from the FNS Financial Services Training Package together, with the appropriate assessment methods as set by the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB) meets the requirements for a course in basic GST/BAS taxation principles that is approved by the TPB.
