Police Officers maintain public order and enforce laws by investigating crimes, patrolling public areas and arresting suspected offenders. Specialisations include: Bomb Squad Officer, Mounted Police Officer, Search and Rescue Officer, and Tactical Response Group Officer.
Social Researchers study human behaviour, society and institutions from current and historical perspectives, and verbally render spoken statements, and transcribe text and recorded spoken material from one language into another.
Correctional Officers work in prisons and correctional centres to ensure the safe supervision of inmates. Their duties involve observing prison behaviour, providing advice, administering first aid, assessing risk factors and preparing reports.
Policy Advisers collect and analyse information and data to produce intelligence and to develop and analyse policies guiding the design, implementation and modification of government and commercial operations and programs.
