The University Foundation Studies in Health Science/Nursing program at The College is designed to prepare you for university study, both academically and socially, by offering subjects that are an introduction to the knowledge and skills needed for an undergraduate degree at Western Sydney University.
This program may open the door to a career as a:
A research officer develops health promotion research; ensuring ethical standards are upheld within research; the collection and analysis of data to evaluate the effectiveness of an program; and the dissemination of findings to the general public and professional audiences.
Health Promotion Officers identify and address priority health and wellbeing issues and deliver population health interventions. They develop and implement health promotion programs and evaluate their effectiveness.
