Recognised Bachelor's degree (AQF Level 7) or higher, or equivalent training, or satisfactory preparation for the course through previous study or professional experience. Some of the units taken assume some prior knowledge, details of which are given in the description of each unit in the Handbook. The most common of these is the high school Physics prerequisite for units such as Energy in Society, Energy Management, and Energy Systems. Some students may therefore need to complete additional prerequisite units.
English Requirements

You must meet a minimum standard in English to study at Murdoch, which for most courses can be demonstrated by providing evidence that you have completed Year 11 and 12 in Australia at any level if you are a domestic student, or through either English proficiency tests, university preparation courses, English language courses, previous tertiary study or vocational education.

Other Requirements Using on-line facilities, students may complete this degree without needing to attend campus. Assistance is provided by tutors who correspond with students by telephone, email or the Internet.

A recognised Bachelor Degree (AQF Level 7) with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, including evidence of studies in either biochemistry or chemistry and either mathematics or statistics , or completion of the Graduate Certificate in Systems Medicine or Graduate Diploma in Systems Medicine with a course average of 65% or higher. Exceptional applicants with a lower GPA scores who also have research experience and/or relevant professional experience may also be considered.

OnTrack Sprint provides an entry pathway into Murdoch University for domestic students who have completed year 12 studies in the previous 18 months, and you meet one of the following criteria A student who has achieved an 'A' or 'B' average in General Year 12 subjects, A student who has not undertaken a full suite of ATAR subjects, but may have performed well in 2 or 3 subjects, and is not applying via the Portfolio pathway due to -the course not being available via Portfolio, OR -because their subjects are not cognate to the desired course of study, A student who has demonstrated academic potential, but may have had a disrupted Year 12 and is recommended for the program by their School. A student who has unsuccessfully completed TLC110 or FlexiTrack High. A near miss ATAR student who has generated an ATAR between 60-69.5. Through this intensive, four-week preparatory program students will learn to think critically and complete research at a University level. By participating in tutorials and completing assignments you will open your mind to new ways of thinking and develop skills as independent learners.
