North Metropolitan TAFE offers over 350 courses to 30,000 students across 10 campuses in the greater north and north eastern metropolitan regions of Perth.

Working closely with industry and employers, North Metropolitan TAFE uses its knowledge and understanding of changing business models and contemporary training techniques to provide solutions to meet the current and future skill requirements of individuals, enterprise and the community.

We are proud to be a member of the Joondalup Learning Precinct Opens in a new window (JLP) and share workforce capability opportunities with the City of Joondalup, ECU and the WA Police Academy. 

With some of the world’s largest engineering, mining and construction companies located in WA, North Metropolitan TAFE works closely with key partners such as Pilbara Minerals Opens in a new window, Roy Hill Opens in a new window and Anglo Ashanti Gold Australia to provide customised training for their workforce.

We are also committed to the development and delivery of targeted skill sets and qualifications to support future jobs in mining, automation, virtual and augmented reality, robotics and cyber security.

North Metropolitan TAFE has strong links with industry and service providers across WA to ensure that the need for skilled workers in the health, aged care and disability sectors is met.

Our hospitality students and staff win numerous awards at state, national and global events including the Nestle Golden Chef’s Hat Competition and the Australian Culinary Federation’s Apprentice of the Year Awards.
