Radio broadcasting skills that will help you land your first job

Radio is an exciting, dynamic industry, filled with passionate and creative people.
The Advanced Diploma is a hand-on practical course that provides you with all the skills to land your first job in radio broadcasting, podcasting and multi-platform opportunities.
You'll develop a wide skill set in a supportive environment in all aspects of the radio industry, inclusive of on-air, news, marketing, podcasting, digital, and management skills.

Real-time learning means being part of a team that runs a real radio station, our own BOOM Radio, giving you a chance to develop industry networks, and practical experience.
In addition, you will be able to focus on the critical areas of interest that you are passionate about to enhance your personal growth and industry opportunities.

The lecturing staff have extensive industry links and actively provide industry work placement and networking opportunities for students.
The course ensures you build on the skills you gained in the Diploma to be able to confidently produce or present on your own live radio show or podcast, be on the air, entertain and inform people and become a part of their daily lives.

You can put your experience and skills to good use working across a range of radio and broadcasting roles and apply your marketing, writing, and research skills in many other fields.
On average 80% of graduating students find employment or gain entry to university to further their study and career opportunities.
