We have one of the top ceramics facilities in Australia, so what better place to learn to throw a pot! This hands-on class has an emphasis on the throwing techniques on the potter's wheel, turning and joining clay forms.
This class is aimed at the total beginner as well as those returning to clay wishing to regain their clay confidence. You will be encouraged to think outside the circle and try altering their forms, and some surface decoration with slip or oxide decoration.
Basic glazing techniques will be covered depending on the progress of the class.
There are no prerequisites for this class.
