Get started on a sound career in the music industry

This qualification will provide you with the practical skills and knowledge to record, mix and edit sound sources and you will learn about the music industry from the production perspective.

The Certificate III in Music (Sound Production) will give you a practical introduction to recording processes including, mixing, editing and post-production. You will participate in recording sessions for bands in our studios and follow the production processes through to the completion of a demo recording.

This course is only offered in semester 2 each year.
