Make a difference to the lives of othersIn this course, you'll develop the skills and knowledge you need to become a qualified housing officer, providing compassionate, trauma-informed and person-centred housing support services to applicants and tenants in the social housing and homelessness sector.
You'll learn how to help people access accommodation within the public and community housing system and how to effectively sustain tenancies and achieve better client and tenant outcomes.
On successful completion, you will be skilled and knowledgeable to work with vulnerable people who could be experiencing or are at risk of experiencing homelessness, have complex mental health issues, experiencing family and domestic violence, or considerable financial stress or community disengagement.
