You will undertake work-related projects to develop practical skills and apply knowledge, demonstrating your abilities to function effectively in a business role.
Through myRMIT, the university's online learning portal, you will be able to view online resources and learning activities created by lecturers, access course materials via Canvas, collaborate with lecturers and fellow students, and access your student email account.
Educational software, the Learning Hub, resources and printers are accessible on campus via the RMIT wireless network using your own laptop, tablet or smartphone or via computer facilities on-campus. You will be able to access the same software from home using myDesktop.
Ongoing assessment throughout the semester includes reports, presentations, projects, research, and practical activities, exercises, and assignments.

You will study eight core subjects, covering topics including:
Current Year 12: Successful completion of Australian Year 12 or equivalent; or the Australian Senior VCAL Certificate.
This program does not select on ATAR.
Non Year 12: Completion of post-secondary studies or at least 6 months' work experience.
Throughout this diploma, you will develop business communication and professional development skills, with the aim of building on existing knowledge and gaining a broad understanding of a range of business functions.
After graduation, you may choose to transition to further education or employment opportunities. Possible career paths include small business owner, business manager and roles involving business planning.
