Certificate
RMIT's Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) program gives you the opportunity to complete your VCE in the heart of Melbourne, without any compulsory extra-curricular activities, allowing you to focus on your studies.
Our program delivers Year 11 (Units 1-2) and Year 12 (Units 3-4) in a mature and supportive environment, in line with Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) requirements.
What you will gain through this program
Whoever you are, RMIT's VCE provides you with the opportunity to complete your education in an environment that allows you to discover your interests and develop your skills.
Why study your VCE at RMIT?
You'll be taught by experienced VCE teachers who will prepare you comprehensively for your next step in life, whether that's tertiary or vocational study, or employment.
VCE is a senior secondary certificate recognised within the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) and internationally. Completing the VCE will expand your options for the future. You can apply through VTAC for higher education and vocational education programs, search for employment or qualify for promotion at work.
Tertiary institutions and employers frequently require specific courses to be included in a Year 12 program, as prerequisites to entry or employment. You are advised to consult tertiary program information and the Victorian Tertiary Admission Centre (VTAC) before choosing your VCE courses. You can also seek advice from the RMIT VCE Office and RMIT Student Services group.
