This high level qualification will help you to become a Registered Tax Agent and give you the specialised skillset you need to be an Assistant Accountant. You'll also be job ready to work in roles such as Accounts Manager, Business Analyst or Payroll Manager.

The units in this course meet the educational eligibility requirements for the following two skills sets with the Tax Practitioners Board:

  • FNSSS00008 Tax Law for Tax Agents Skill Set (Tax documentation)
  • FNSSS00009 Tax Law for Tax Agents Skill Set (Tax Plans)

Satisfactory completion of the course entitles you to join the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA), one of the three peak accounting bodies representing accountants in Australia.

Completion of WACE General or ATAR (Minimum C Grades) or equivalent Completion of WACE General or ATAR or equivalent (minimum C Grades) Certificate III

COURSE SPECIFIC EVIDENCE DOCUMENTATION - PROOF REQUIRED:

Prior to enrolment into this qualification, you will be required to provide evidence of completion of the following qualifications (or equivalent):

FNS50222 Diploma of Accounting; or its superseded version FNS50217 Diploma of Accounting or equivalent, provided the listed elective unit BSBTEC402 Design and produce complex spreadsheets (or equivalent) has been completed by those seeking to enrol.
