About this course

This qualification is designed for job roles in the harvesting and haulage sector of the forest and wood products industry. The harvesting and haulage sector is responsible for cutting down trees, plantation and native, and transporting them to a mill or port facility. The product might be timber logs or chip and the species harvested range from blue gum for woodchip, pine for chip and timber and native timber for chip or timber. Residues are also used for mulch, pelleting, bio fuel and oil production.
