This course will provide you with the knowledge and skills required to enter and work in confined spaces in the Resources and Infrastructure Industries.

In this course you will learn the requirements for working in confined spaces including:

  • timely completion of entering and working in confined spaces safely;
  • work within a confined space and compliance with the permit conditions;
  • procedures, records and techniques;
  • knowledge of the legislation and relevant standards;
  • site/organisation risk assessment guidelines; and
  • use and maintenance of appropriate PPE and more.

On successful completion of this course, students will receive a statement of attainment for the following nationally accredited unit RIIWHS202E Enter and Work in Confined Spaces.

To remain current, it is recommended that you complete this course every two years.
