DescriptionThis course will update your knowledge and skills in Traffic Control and/or Basic Worksite Traffic Management. Traffic controllers are required to renew their Main Roads WA (MRWA) accreditation after three years of certification.

Entry requirements
Prior to the course participants must provide documentary evidence of experience including at a minimum:
o Current or previous evidence of holding a valid driver's licence,
Evidence of being issued with a valid WorkSafe WA Construction Safety Awareness Training card (blue card) or Construction Induction (white card).
o A Copy of your Main Roads WA certificate of accreditation
o Copies of previous Statement(s) of attainment for traffic units
o details of a minimum 3 worksites with a supervisor contact details that can be verified. This includes the date of work, job location, description of works, supervisor name and contact details.
o a completed and signed Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) used on a worksite by the applicant
o minimum 1 of the following: risk assessment participation or pre-start documentation
o Daily diary signed by the participant or details of the TMP number, contractor, etc.
Participants must submit the above evidence of experience prior to sitting the refresher course. If evidence cannot be provided, the applicant will be required to undertake the full course.
Participants need literacy and numeracy skills to a level that will allow them to complete the written component of the assessment.
CertificationOn successful completion of this course, students will receive a Main Roads WA Traffic Management Accreditation Certificate and Wallet Card.
