This five day WorkSafe Western Australia accredited course for Health and Safety Representatives will provide representatives with information and skills to enable them to effectively carry out their role as "representatives" of employees, and as defined under Section 68 of the WHS Act.
.The course is specifically designed to achieve the objectives of the Act offering a balanced approach with emphasis on cooperation and consultation and representatives' participation in the development and formulation of safety and health policy and procedures at the workplace.

On completion of this course, participants will receive a Statement of Attendance from South Regional TAFE.
To be eligible to undertake the WorkSafe WA HSR training, the persons attending must be HSR's or deputy HSR's that have been elected under the WHS Act.
