University of Divinity Courses

The minimum admission requirements for the Graduate Diploma in Leadership are:

Candidates who have completed at least 72 points in the Adelaide College of Divinity Doctor of Ministry may apply to transfer their enrolment to the Doctor of Ministry with effect from 1 January 2023. Candidates may receive specified credit for units completed satisfactorily at the Adelaide College of Divinity through a credit transfer.

A person may apply to the Academic Board to enrol as a candidate for the Master of Counselling if the person has:
a) satisfactorily completed either a Graduate Diploma in Counselling, or a Graduate Diploma (or higher qualification) in a field closely related to Counselling such as nursing or social work, from the University of Divinity or from a tertiary education provider that is recognised by the Academic Board and by a relevant professional body, and
b) is a self-insured, non-student member of a relevant professional counselling body, and
c) satisfactorily completes an interview with a Course Advisor.

Successful completion of an undergraduate degree, or an approved equivalent.

Applicants may only be admitted by the School of Graduate Research Committee. Meeting minimum eligibility requirements does not guarantee admission. The Committee also takes into consideration the applicant's potential to undertake research, quality and feasibility of the research proposal, availability of appropriate supervision, and strength of employer or referee reports.
