Entry Requirements
A candidate shall:
(a) be qualified for admission (seeAdmission Undergraduate and Postgraduate (Coursework) Rule and Admission Undergraduate and Postgraduate (Coursework) Procedures); or
(b) hold an approved qualification from an Australian TAFE or Registered Training Organisation under the Articulation Program.
Assumed knowledge: any two units of English.
Recommended studies: any two units of mathematics. For units in the economics, finance and quantitative areas, it is recommended that students have previously studied mathematics.
The Certificate III in Horticulture provides skills and knowledge to meet the needs of various sectors in the horticulture industry. Choose from streams in nursery, parks and gardens, or landscape construction.

Applicants admitted under rule (b) must submit a Statement of Service from an employer.
Agribusiness encompasses the entire food production process, from business activities involved in production, financing and processing to marketing of food and fibre in order to feed a growing population.

Admission to the TRACKS tertiary preparation program will be open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates:
(a) who are not admissible to a course and who intend to seek admission to an undergraduate course; or
(b) who state that completion of this enabling course will make them better qualified to undertake an undergraduate degree and who intend to seek admission to an undergraduate degree; or
(c) who have unsuccessfully attempted an undergraduate course previously and who state that completion of this enabling course will make them better qualified to undertake an undergraduate course.

Entry Requirements
An IELTS score (academic) of 6.0 with no band score less than 5.0 or equivalent.
Completion of AHC30716 Certificate III in Horticulture is required for entry into this course.
