This Work Safely At Heights short course is designed for employees required to work safely at heights in resources and infrastructure, civil construction and construction industries.
Entry Requirements
A basic command of the English language, both written and verbal, is recommended. Participants may be asked to complete a language and literacy test before being offered a place in the course. Photo ID must be presented i.e. current driver's licence or passport Basic Numeracy and Literacy skills Minimum 16 Years of age Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Long pants, long sleeve shirt and safety boots to be worn during training Participants are required to pass a practical and theoretical assessment
A USI number is to be obtained before the start of the class.

The Operate Elevated Work Platforms (up to 11m), is designed for all employees working in civil construction operating roles. It provides the skills and knowledge to competently and safely operate an elevated work platform on which personnel, equipment and materials may be elevated to perform work.

Participants need to hold a White Card or have the competency of CPCWHS1001 - Prepare to work safely in the construction industry. Minimum age is 17 years old or demonstrated work experience if age is under 17.
