This training will provide you with the foundation skills to enter the plumbing industry. On completion of this training, you will have achieved national units of competency which will count towards the completion of various Plumbing qualifications delivered at CIT.
Entry Requirements
Students must be able to read and write documents and understand maths concepts to a level required to complete Year 10. Early in the program these skills will be checked if any participants cannot read and write documents and complete maths work to the level required, they will be enrolled into additional subjects to help them build the skills needed to successfully complete the program.
This course will qualify and allow students to perform veterinary nursing duties under the supervision of a veterinarian in a veterinary clinic.
Entry Requirements
Students must have completed a Certificate II in Animal Care or Certificate III in Animal Care Services, prior to enrolment into this course. Students who have not completed the required prerequisite qualifications but have equivalent knowledge and skills from Industry experience can apply through an interview process.
This course prepares you to work in a variety of health settings, including hospitals, aged care, primary health and mental health.
Entry Requirements
There are no entry requirements for this qualification as per the training package requirements for HLT54121 Diploma of Nursing. However, for students to enrol into the Diploma of Nursing program they must meet the following CIT entry requirements:
Have completed Year 12 (within the last 10 years at an accredited or tertiary level) with at least a C grade average in English and Maths or successfully completed the LLN test (ACSF level 4).
Be at least 18 years of age
Have a current clear Working with Vulnerable People Card
Have a current clear Australian Federal Police Check - Code 08 - Hospital Employment
This training will provide plumbers with the skills and knowledge required to design and size consumer gas installation and includes consumer piping, flueing and ventilation.
