To gain entry into CPC32420 Certificate III in Plumbing, candidates require:

• Achievement of CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry
• To be an Apprentice who has entered a Training Contract with their employer and Australian Apprenticeship Support Network NT.

To gain entry into SIT50422 Diploma of Hospitality Management, candidates are required:

• To either undertake SIT30622 Certificate III in Hospitality or SIT40422 Certificate IV in Hospitality or be currently working in the industry prior to commencing the SIT50422 Diploma of Hospitality Management.

To gain entry in to BSB50820 Diploma of Project Management it is preferred that individuals possess a BSB40920 Certificate IV in Project Management Practice, or similar qualification; or have vocational experience in a project management related role without holding a formal qualification.

Admission requirements are met by one of the following:

• Successful completion of the Northern Territory Certificate of Education and Training (or equivalent) and the awarding of an Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) of at least 60*.
• Successful completion of a national qualification at Certificate III level or higher.
• Successful completion of at least 0.5 year of full-time study (or equivalent) of a higher education degree/diploma.
• Overseas secondary or tertiary qualifications considered equivalent to the above Australian qualifications.
• Attainment of a STAT Multiple Choice score of 140.
• Successful completion of the Tertiary Enabling Program, the Preparation for Tertiary Success courses, or other recognised tertiary preparation course.
• Submission of an acceptable personal competencies statement and/or employment experience.
• Defence members with service of 1 year or more at the following ranks (or higher) meet the academic entry requirement for this course:
  • Navy: Seaman, Able Seaman, Leading Seaman
  • Air Force: Aircraftmen/Aircraftwoman, Leading Aircraftman/Aircraftwoman, Corporal
  • Army: Private, Lance Corporal, Corporal
• Current School Leaver Pathways:
  • Best of 3 Year 12 subject grades
  • School recommendation program

To gain entry into RII30820 Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations as an Apprentice, candidates require:

• To be an Apprentice who has entered a Training Contract with their employer and Australian Apprenticeship Support Network NT.
• Understanding of basic computer skills, to navigate online learning materials and assessments

Students can also undertake this course as non-apprentices.

To gain entry into UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology, candidates require:

• To be an apprentice who has entered a training contract with their employer and Australian Apprenticeship Support Network NT
• Hold an <a href=https://electricallicensing.nt.gov.au/home>NT Apprentice Training Licence (Red Card)</a>

Admission requirements are met by one of the following:

• Successful completion of the Northern Territory Certificate of Education and Training (or equivalent) and the awarding of an Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) of at least 60*.
• Successful completion of a national qualification at Certificate III level or higher.
• Successful completion of at least 0.5 year of full-time study (or equivalent) of a higher education degree/diploma.
• Overseas secondary or tertiary qualifications considered equivalent to the above Australian qualifications.
• Attainment of a STAT Multiple Choice score of 140.

A pre-enrolment process to establish suitability to undertake the course and to determine support requirements will be conducted which will include a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment.

Entry to this qualification is open to individuals who:

• have achieved a Certificate III in Retail

or

• have relevant industry employment experience in a job role that has involved the application of skills and knowledge described in core units of competency from the SIR30216 Certificate III in Retail.

All BSB41419 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety core units or equivalent competencies. Equivalent competencies are predecessors to the following units which have been mapped as equivalent.

• BSBWHS412 Assist with workplace compliance with WHS laws
• BSBWHS413 Contribute to implementation and maintenance of WHS consultation and participation processes
• BSBWHS414 Contribute to WHS risk management
• BSBWHS415 Contribute to implementing WHS management systems
• BSBWHS416 Contribute to workplace incident response.

To gain entry into, BSB51319 Diploma of Work Health and Safety candidates require:

• the ability to read, write and interpret a range of documentation;
• computer literacy to research the internet, send/receive email and produce word-processed documents.

To gain entry into MEM20105 Certificate II in Engineering, candidates require:

• Formal traineeship with NETTS, OR
• Minimum of 6 months within Engineering or Manufacturing industry

Successful completion of a recognised Bachelor degree or equivalent international qualification in a health science-related area with at least a credit average (GPA of 5.00).

Consideration will also be given to applicants who are below a GPA of 5.00 who can demonstrate a suitable level of technical skills.
