Applicants must have successfully completed CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry (or equivalent)., Must have a Unique Student Identifier (USI) registered and have completed a pretraining review prior to enrolment., Satisfy eligibility criteria if the candidate wishes to access government funding (if applicable)

Admission requirements are completion of BKSB assessment with an outcome of ACSF exit level 2 - working level 3, for both literacy and numeracy

Applicants must be 17 years of age at the time of commencement of the course. Parental agreement is required for students under 18 years of age, Applicants must provide a Senior Secondary Certificate or complete the Basic Key Skill Builder (BKSB) Assessment and achieve an outcome of exit level 2 - working level 3 in both literacy and numeracy, Applicants need to have a basic knowledge of the use of Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as Internet and email use and have access to a computer or tablet

Apprentices must have a Registered Training Agreement with their employer, It is recommended school leaver students complete the pre-apprenticeship pathway (Certificate II) prior to enrolling, or complete a pre-training assessment for literacy and numeracy of BKSB assessment with an outcome of ACSF exit level 2, working level 3

Applicants must be a minimum of 16 years of age at the time of course commencement and have completed a pre-training assessment for literacy and numeracy, Students who are aged under 17 years require a completed Transition from School form from their school

Be able to use a personal computer, including basic word processing, spreadsheet and electronic communication platforms and internet search engines, Have a demonstrated capacity in learning ,reading ,writing and oracy to Level 4 and numeracy to Level 3 of the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF), The nature and content of this course requires that applicants be 18 years or older at time of enrolment
