Murdoch University Courses

To be eligible for admission as a candidate for a Master of Education (Research) an applicant must have:* a Bachelor Degree in Education (AQF level 7), or equivalent, and satisfy the Dean of Graduate Research with evidence of scholarly or professional attainments relevant to the proposed research discipline; or* a Bachelor Degree in a different discipline (AQF level 7) and have successfully completed a graduate course in Education, or equivalent, requiring at least one year of equivalent full-time study (AQF level 8), and satisfy the Dean of Graduate Research with evidence of scholarly or professional attainments relevant to the proposed research discipline; or* a Bachelor Degree in a different discipline and satisfy the Dean of Graduate Research with evidence of significant scholarly or professional attainments (of at least two years full-time duration or equivalent) in Education equivalent to AQF level 8.

Current registration as a Veterinary Surgeon in Australia or recognised qualifications that would permit registration as a Veterinary Surgeon in Australia; plus acceptance into a Residency Training Program in the College of Veterinary Medicine; plus approval of the Academic Chair.

As per normal undergraduate admission requirements.

Completion of a Bachelor Degree (AQF Level 7) or equivalent in the same discipline or cognate area with a Distinction average in units relating to the planned Honours study and a Credit/ Distinction average overall. Subject to availability of a suitable supervisor and approval by the Dean of School. Students should not have failed any undergraduate units in their relevant degree, particularly second and third year units and especially units related to their planned field of study.

As per usual undergraduate requirements

Completion of a Bachelor degree (AQF Level 7) or equivalent in a health discipline. Preparation for the course through previous study or professional experiences will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Advanced academic study, research preparation and professional experience are required for admission to the course. For details please contact the Academic Chair. To be eligible for admission as a candidate for a Doctoral Degree (Professional), an applicant must have: *Bachelor Degree with at least a 2A Honours normally in the same discipline (AQF level 8); or * a Masters Degree normally in the same discipline (AQF level 9); or *a Bachelor Degree normally in the same discipline (AQF level 7) and satisfy the Dean of Graduate Studies with evidence of substantive and significant scholarly or professional attainments including satisfactory research preparation the equivalent of AQF level 8 or 9.

Recognised Bachelor's degree or higher; or satisfactory preparation for the course through informal or non-formal learning and/or professional experiences subject to the approval of the Academic Chair

A Bachelor's degree or higher, or significant professional experience, in plant biosecurity or a related discipline (for example entomology, plant pathology, quarantine).

Completion of a bachelor degree (AQF Level 7) or equivalent in any discipline. Applications based on previous study or professional experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Recognised Bachelor's degree or satisfactory preparation for the course through previous study or professional experience. Graduates who wish to pursue a Master program must apply for admission before enrolling in any further units.

Completion of a Bachelor degree (AQF Level 7) or equivalent in a health related discipline. Preparation for the course through previous study or professional experiences will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
