• Work that provides opportunities and support for professional development and reflective helping practice including the provision of feedback and training.

You will need to provide with your application your CV plus statements of service for most recent relevant employment. If you have been employed for less than one year full-time in most relevant employment you will need to provide a statement of service from your previous relevant employer.

You must:

• If shortlisted attend in-person group interview to assess your suitability for the program and interpersonal skills in a counselling context.

We will consider equivalent overseas qualifications for admissions purposes. If you have tertiary qualifications from countries where English is not the standard language of instruction you must provide evidence of English language proficiency.

Suitable applicants are shortlisted or placed on a wait list for an interview based on the responses in their personal statement.

Shortlisted applicants will be contacted in mid-October to attend the in-person group interview at the Kelvin Grove campus in late October/early November. Wait listed applicants may be interviewed in late November/early December should places remain available.

Interviewed applicants will receive notification on the outcome of their application two weeks after their interview.

You must provide your academic record for all studies attempted up until semester 1 this year by 30 September. If your application is successful you will receive a conditional offer that will stipulate when your final results and course completion must be provided to confirm your place.

If you have summer/semester 3 (or equivalent) studies you will need to apply for entry next July for the year after you complete your studies.

Relevant work experience indicates applicants will be able to contribute to class discussion. A minimum of five years full-time equivalent professional or managerial work experience is required after the completion of an undergraduate degree. To enable us to assess your work experience a current curriculum vitae providing details of your roles responsibilities and achievements is required.

You may be required to:

• sit the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) (the worldwide standard in aptitude assessment for admission to postgraduate management programs) and achieve a minimum score of 550. GMAT details (PDF file 271.8 KB).
• attend an interview with the MBA Director to demonstrate relevant work experience.

If you do not have bachelor degree please consider the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration if you have a minimum of 9 years work experience (6 years minimum equivalent professional work experience plus 3 year minimum supervisory/management experience). Upon completion of the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration with a GPA 4.50 (or higher) you can articulate into the Executive Master of Business Administration.

• A completed recognised four-year honours Class IIA degree in education; or
• A masters degree in education or in a field relevant to the professional doctorate in education with a minimum GPA of 5.00 on QUT's 7 point scale; and
• Two years' practice in a position of professional responsibility in education or a closely related field.

You will be considered solely on the basis of the selection ranks from all of your prior degree and higher studies you may have undertaken. Your other qualifications and experiences may be allocated selection ranks for entry to other QUT courses but will not be considered for this course.

You must have attended and satisfactorily completed at least 6 years of primary and secondary education taught and assessed solely in English. At least two years of this education must have been between grades 7 and 12. This education must have been completed in one of the following countries:

You must have a completed recognised bachelor degree (or higher qualification) not in nursing completed within the past 10 years with a minimum grade point average (GPA) or 4.00 or higher (on QUT's 7 point scale).

If your bachelor degree was awarded more than 10 years ago you will be eligible for entry if you have 5 years of professional work experience (within 10 years of the planned date of course commencement). If you are applying on the basis of work experience must submit a detailed CV position details and employment statements.

You must have a completed recognised overseas nursing bachelor degree completed within the past 10 years with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 4.00 (on QUT's 7 point scale).

If your overseas nursing bachelor degree was awarded more than 10 years ago will be eligible for entry if you have one of:

• evidence of current registration as a nurse; or
• evidence of work experience as a registered nurse no more than five years prior to the planned date of course commencement. If you are applying on the basis of work experience must submit a detailed CV position details and employment statements.

A recognised four-year full-time (or equivalent) bachelor degree of engineering in aerospace computer and software systems electrical electronics mechatronics and equivalents with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (on QUT's 7 point scale).

Completed EV01 Bachelor of Engineering at QUT.
