Graduate Entry (Trimester 1 entry only)
To be eligible for admission to the Graduate Entry pathway of the Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics, a student must have:
- successfully completed an approved university degree comprising the equivalent of 160 credit points of science courses which included completion of the following:
- at least two chemistry courses (equivalent to a minimum of 20 credit points) followed by at least two second year level biochemistry courses (equivalent to a minimum of 20 credit points) AND
- at least two human biology courses followed by at least two second year level physiology courses (equivalent to a minimum of 20 credit points) AND
- at least one 10 credit point (or equivalent) nutrition course including content on nutrition science AND
- at least one 10 credit point (or equivalent) food science course.
Please note: a maximum of 160CP will be awarded in credit for this program when entering via Graduate Entry
A thorough understanding of physiology and biochemistry is necessary for informed study of nutrition and dietetics and is specified as a requirement for Dietitians specified in the Dietitians Australia Accreditation process.
