This course will provide you with the skills and knowledge required to safely operate a boom-type Elevating Work Platform (EWP) where the length of the boom is 11 metres or more in accordance with all relevant legislative requirements.
Entry Requirements

Participants must:
- Be physically fit and able to work at heights.
- Be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Have access to a workplace with the required equipment. Our trainers can advise if your workplace is appropriate.
- Have English language skills to effectively communicate and work safely with others in the work area and to read and comprehend manufacturer's instructions and workplace procedures and safety signs. Participants must also be able to apply mathematical procedures for the estimation and measurement of loads. These skills will be checked prior to enrolment.
