RTO Entrance Requirements

Students are selected from the Wheatbelt Community that are required to use tractors in their daily work schedule to implement trial seeding plots for Agricultural research and studies. This process is communicated between the Lecturer and the Manager of Muresk. TAFE resources will be utilised- Tractors and 3PL implements that employees would normally use in the work environment.

RTO Entrance Requirements

Students must have the appropriate level of literacy and numeracy to complete a course at Diploma level - to ascertain this, they will complete an LLN assessment provided by CRTAFE.

For the course level particularly where they are:
  • Current knowledge and skills of learners for School Leavers needs the completion of WACE General or ATAR (minimum C Grades) or equivalent. Non-School Leavers needs the completion of WACE General or ATAR or equivalent (minimum C Grades) or AQF Certificate III level.

Other areas include:

Intermediate computer skills level III (MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Publisher).
