There are no minimum admission requirements for this unit, however applicants will require skills and knowledge to undertake the learning at this level e.g. a general command of spoken and written English to be able to perform reading for learning purposes, listening for learning purposes and following instructions.

Students must have the physical capacity to kneel on the floor to perform CPR.

Students preferring the blended online and face to face delivery require internet access and individual computer skills so they can access information and undertake relevant activities online.

Students need to enrol as FFS if they have been previously deemed competent in this unit but need to re-enrol and complete it again due to industry or employer requirements.
