If a student wishes to undertake the course and has limited to no experience in the ICT industry, it is highly recommended the student undertakes Short Course VTP534 Introduction to Cyber Security; this course will give students the foundation knowledge in networking and Python programming.

There are no compulsory entry requirements however, the preferred pathways for learners considering this qualification may include:

• Completion of VTP534 Introduction to Cyber Security;
• Completion of ICT30120 Certificate III in Information Technology, ICT40120 Certificate IV in IT or other relevant courses; or
• Demonstrated vocational experience in a range of work environments using information technologies

A pre-enrolment interview will be conducted where the lecturer will determine whether the student has the required language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) and/or digital literacy skills to undertake the course and to determine any support requirements.

This program is open to senior level school students in year 10 and above who have expressed interest in becoming a meat retail butcher.

It is also open to students who are employed in a meat retail outlet and may be school leavers through to mature age persons.

There are no specified eligibility/entry requirements for this qualification however, in order to meet the requirements of the training package, students enrolling into AMP20415 Certificate II in Meat Processing (Retail Butcher) with CDU must be employed within the meat industry.

At the time of enrolment, students will be required to complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LL&N) evaluation to help identify any areas where you may need additional support to help you achieve your goals.

To enter VTP462 Maintenance, candidates are required to be aged 16 years or above.

To gain entry into, CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction candidates require:

• Recommended completion of English and Maths to a year 12 standard
• Mature-aged students, with industry skills and knowledge
• Confident computer literacy
• Candidates are expected to have or obtain an NT White card

To gain entry into CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction as an apprentice, candidates require:

• To be an Apprentice who has entered a Training Contract with their employer and Australian Apprenticeship Support Network NT

There are no entry requirements for this course however students will be required to:

• Have access to Adobe Creative Suite
• Undertake an Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment to determine individual support requirements, if applicable

There are no entry requirements for this course however students will be required to:

• Have access to a basic production kit, including a sound recording device, vision recording device and a lighting device.
• Undertake a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment to determine individuals support requirements, if applicable.

For apprentices only: To gain entry into AHC21020 Certificate II in Conservation and Ecosystem Management, students:

• Have an apprenticeship contract in place between themselves, Australian Apprenticeship Support Services (AASN), and their host employer.

To gain entry into AHC40920 Certificate IV in Conservation and Ecosystem Management it is advisable that students either:

• Complete AHC31421 Certificate III in Conservation and Ecosystem Management, its equivalent or a relevant qualification; or
• Be employed within the conservation industry

You are required to wear enclosed shoes during the course, and appropriate clothing such as: a hat, long pants, sleeved shirt with collar and a water bottle.
