Charles Darwin University (CDU) Courses

Admission requirements are met by one of the following:

• Successful completion of the Northern Territory Certificate of Education and Training (or equivalent) and the awarding of an Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) of at least 60*.
• Successful completion of a national qualification at Certificate III level or higher.
• Successful completion of at least 0.5 year of full-time study (or equivalent) of a higher education degree/diploma.
• Overseas secondary or tertiary qualifications considered equivalent to the above Australian qualifications.
• Attainment of a STAT Multiple Choice score of 140.
• Successful completion of the Tertiary Enabling Program, the Preparation for Tertiary Success courses, or other recognised tertiary preparation course.
• Submission of an acceptable personal competencies statement and/or employment experience.
• Defence members with service of 1 year or more at the following ranks (or higher) meet the academic entry requirement for this course:
  • Navy: Seaman, Able Seaman, Leading Seaman
  • Air Force: Aircraftmen/Aircraftwoman, Leading Aircraftman/Aircraftwoman, Corporal
  • Army: Private, Lance Corporal, Corporal

*After any applicable adjustment factors have been applied.

Successful completion of a recognised bachelor degree, graduate diploma, master's degree or equivalent international qualification. Registered nurses who are graduates of a hospital-based program are also eligible for entry

Consideration will be given to applicants who only hold a graduate certificate.

Successful completion of a recognised bachelor degree, graduate certificate, graduate diploma, masters degree or equivalent international qualification.

Consideration will be given to applicants who have a diploma level qualification or above and at least five years relevant professional experience.

Applicants must provide further documentation detailing their employment experience (i.e. work experience certificate from an employer/s) and outlining their roles and achievements in the form of a curriculum vitae (CV) and a statement of purpose. The statement of purpose should address why you would like to be admitted into the course, career goals and aspirations and benefits the course will provide you.

Successful completion of a recognised bachelor degree, graduate certificate, graduate diploma, masters degree or equivalent international qualification.

Consideration will also be given to applicants who do not have one of the above qualifications, but who have at least five years appropriate professional experience.

Applicants must provide further documentation detailing their employment experience in the form of a curriculum vitae (CV) with their application.
