  • Have completed AHC21020 Certificate II in Conservation and Ecosystem Management or a relevant qualification

Entry Requirements

To gain entry into the 10809NAT Course in Electrician - Minimum Australian Context Gap candidates are required to:

  • hold an Offshore Technical Skills Record (OTSR) or Australian Technical Competencies Statement (ATCS) for a UEE30811 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (or successor)

Restricted Access Arrangement (Employer Reserved Places)

A place in this course is made available under an arrangement between the University and an employer or industry body. The arrangement restricts enrolments via this channel, in some of the places in the course, to students sponsored by their employer or industry body. Employers are required to demonstrate that processes are in place to ensure students will be released from the workplace to attend study.

Along with the advertised entry requirements, applicants will be required to evidence the following:

  • An employer registration (no fee commitment) for work release, this will need to be endorsed by Faculty for each applicant prior to offer.
  • An employment check to ensure ANZSCO requirements met using those reflected defence, aerospace, and associated manufacturing industries.

To gain entry into VTP348 Licence to Perform Dogging candidates are required to be:

  • 18 years old to obtain a NT Worksafe licence
  • Students are encouraged to hold a current NT Worksafe Licence Elevated Work Platform ticket and/or a Working Safely at Heights Statement of Attainment.
  • At the point of entry to this short course the AQF level is expected to be at level 3.
  • Achievement of CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry.
